The Postelles - June, 2011

These Australian art rockers Drawn From Bees get lots of radio play back home and dropped into LA to play the legendary Whiskey. The guys stopped by the Rave-Pad on their way to the airport. We hung out and also recorded a chat. Here's the video version.

Philadelphia Grand Jury in LA at Musexpo 2010

Philadelphia Grand Jury ("PhillyJays") won the Australian equivalent of of a 2009 Grammy for Independent Single of the Year. They recently moved to London and stopped in LA on the way.

The Drums at SXSW 2010

The Drums from Brooklyn appeared at SXSW in March and we sat down to chat in their hotel lobby. Very energetic live, they're actually quite low-key. Their album hit the UK charts at #16 and they're now out to conquer the rest of the world.

The late lead singer Doug Fieger of The Knack called in to a Rave-A-Thon in 2007.

Breakfast With The Beatles' Chris Carter + Bruce Rave

Chris Carter, host of the "Breakfast With the Beatles" show on KLOS and Little Steven's Underground Garage channel on SiriusXM, hung out well into the night and we did a new music show together back in 2006. Chris hosted one of the best weekly new music programs I've ever heard, a decade ago on the old Y-107 in LA.
