I have student radio at the University of Wisconsin to thank for a music business career that I’ve been very fortunate to have. Over the past 15 years, I’ve remained involved with WSUM in any way I can, whether it’s been doing guest shows, consulting on different levels, or making a donation every now and then. Getting to know the students is one of the best parts. Their passion is off the charts, and many go on to careers in the entertainment field. The station invited me to take part in the 10th anniversary of their getting an FM frequency in Madison. Consider my arm having been twisted. Thanks to this experience as a student, I was hired by Capitol Records and was able to sign some cool bands that went on to do real well. This show combined stories and songs from my deep, dark past along with many of my current tracks. Hourly links are just below. Enjoy!
