Moheak Music Meeting, January 5

Sunday, January 8th, 2012

I had a great idea to kick off the new year of MMM’s. Why not start with an all-Moheak panel? The station is all about DJ’s with great resumes who are passionate about music. Guests were DJ Paul V., Lina Lecaro, and Marko DeSantis.

You can hear AND watch this show here thanks to Paul, who posted the entire show on his video page. Minor point is that Paul listed the year as 2011, but you’ll figure that out : )  We rated and debated new songs and chatted about the music world that we all love. Artists getting the best reaction were Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings, Sleigh Bells, and The Dropkick Murphys. Paul introduced us to a cool collaboration called The Two Bears, featuring Joe Goddard of Hot Chip and Metronomy’s Mohammed Rafi.
